My Personal Promises for 2015

Everyone says this year has flown by…

I can’t say I agree nor disagree.

This was my first year as a mom and that brought many challenges, which made this year sometimes feel endless.

However, waking up to a slightly bigger, smarter, cuter baby every single day makes me think it flew by.

Today is the last day of that year.

Instead of resolutions, I want to make some promises to myself. Promises that I will fight to keep them.

Halloween is just around the corner and 

this is the first time in a long time

that I feel completely thrilled!

There is something about having a child

that makes you feel the excitement of 

all the holidays!

You start to feel the same way you used to

when you were a kid.

The rush of getting dressed up for Halloween with your friends,

 knocking on neighbors doors for candy and toys,

feeling the creepy air and hearing the "boooohs"

Gosh it was fun!

About Summer, Outfits and Love

Sometimes Miami is too hot to even go outside...

The weather here is ever changing, it starts very sunny and around noon

thunder comes making you think 

that a hurricane is definitely coming.

And then there are days

like this...

where the sun shines very bright, but doesn't burn.

And you feel lucky to live in such a state.

Well, I have to admit I feel lucky everyday.

I have the most beautiful and loving home.

We dont live in the best neighborhood, 

we dont buy expensive clothes

and we dont have a fancy lifestyle.

But we have the sweetest of moments together.

We find joy in whatever we do.

We cherish our moments in silence while watching a movie and Gianni is sound asleep.

We love talking to each other without the TV while having dinner.

We are very passionate when fighting and I hate my husband everytime we do.

And I love that, cause I still care..I still feel passionate about this relationship 

and I still feel we are meant for each other. 

I know we will grow very old together.

I am the richest person.

I inherited this outfit from a great friend.

The fedora has been with me for ages.

Welcoming the New Year the Right way

A celebration for a New year is always exciting.

The hope for better and bigger things,

the motivation to accomplish certain dreams 

the challenge to stick to resolutions...

I always like to start the new year

the best way that I can.

Leaving behind angst, old anger,

disappointments, messy lifestyles, and unhealthy habits.

Today's Dream

It's 1:32 pm and I have to admit that I just woke up. Work has sucked the life out of me the past few days and I can't be more happy to be off three days in a row!
I overslept because my body was glued to my bed AND (and please this "and" is very IMPORTANT cause its the MAIN reason) because I was dreaming of, yeap, Ryan...
Basically we were doing a movie together and through out the movie and of course our "acting" I was always looking for a way to kiss him, but he kept backing off, telling me that the kiss wasn't on that particular scene that we were doing...
A woke up a couple of times but I was DETERMINED to get back to that dream and continue my chase...of course time flew in real life and here I am, my whole day almost gone and NO KISS! 
God I hope that my husband doesn't read this post, but with my luck lately, chances are he will...hi honey love you!..you're the best!!

PS: Ryan is not the celebrity that I die for, but I have beginning to fall in love with him after the movie Blue Valentine which completely broke my heart into a trillion pieces, and after the dream today my heart is growing fonder ;)

My bloggin partner introduced me to Free People recently, and frankly, I really don't know if I should thank her or kill her, since I can anticipate my wallet's suffering.

Ugh! these kind of clothes look so comfortable, so relaxed and it really seems like you would feel FREE...

I absolutely adore fringy bags, they always add a little bohemian touch to any outfit.
