Simple Pleasures

I have to say, I find beauty in the most simple things. I consider my life perfect with all the good, the bad and the "ugly". Bad things have to happen in order for us to wish for good and better things, making us usually strive and work for them. Ugly things have to be there so we can appreciate what's lovely, without getting too deep into what is actually beautiful or not. But, I'm not telling you anything you haven't read, heard or thought about yourself before, am I?...right!


I just find myself especially happy today...and ever since 2011 began. Maybe it had to do with moving from Houston to Miami, or changing jobs (well, I didn't exactly changed job position, but changing states meant changing colleagues, not to mention boss!)
All I can say is that I have -0 stress right now, 100+ hopefulness for the future and lots of enthusiasm for life!


Today I wanted to make a special post of some of the things that have contributed, in big or small, this genuine happiness I feel in this stage in my life...just a small piece of me.

Like any island native..I need to be close to the beach!

Miami has some of the nicest skies...that let me daydream...

In Miami I have found so many delicious and awesome things to eat! I had never tried macaroons before!
