About Dreams
Work has consumed every little empty space of my brain labeled specifically for creativity
and believe it or not, I find a lot of my inspiration from dreams...
In dreams, most of the time I am in complete control.
Not only that, but I can even be conscious sometimes that I am dreaming.
I can visit places that exist and I can even create my own places...
I sometimes can even start complicating things if I am getting bored...like for example I could take a branch out of a tree and start painting the sky, I can decide to fly out of space to mention a few...

Sunday Tunes
I have been extremely busy with work lately..
No time for my baby (blog)
no time for myself.
Still, since its Sunday
I wanted to share one of the most beautiful romantic videos
one of my favorites of all time.
It was the first video that made me cry.
I loved the lyrics...because i know gwen wrote this from a true
and personal experience.
Love the fashion, the scenery
I love her!
Enjoy...and remember to always
keep it cool..

This video is disturbing/creative/unique and tender all at once.
I think it was inspired by a classic
Can you guess what reminds me of?
Have a great Sunday everyone!

Dry but never Dead
Every time I have received or bought myself roses, I always paste them to a wall
for them to dry and maintain their color.
This time I had just the perfect place to keep them.
Since I have a few of these Liquor Bottles
I plan to use them...
Are we like roses?
Should we take ourselves out of a certain situation, a certain job, a certain relationship before is too late? before it kills us completely and
rips away our youth and color?
Do people see our essence beyond our age?
beyond our visual aspect?
I believe we should live in a way, that people around us see
our souls through our eyes and appreciate the singular scent each of us brings to Earth

Second Saturdays P.1
I got the chance to go for the first time to this Art and Design event called "Second Saturdays"
here at the Design District.
My husband and I had to celebrate our Valentines day yesterday since I work on the 14th, so this was our date, and boy did we have fun!!
The streets had an energy, they were DJs on a few corner giving the event a "beat" and for me, nothing can "beat"
a night full of art, fashion, music, WINE..and...being outdoors!
Oh...I forgot great food...
More pictures of this night to come!

Sea Fair Miami 2012
Vest: H&M, Bag: Aldo, Ring: Tierra
I got the chance to go to this Art Fair where there were lots of different art Galleries in sort of like a big cruise ship. it was kinda fun but most of all quite a refreshing way to see so many different artists in a same place.
I hope I get the chance to attend to more of these...how I miss my fellow art students! We used to hang out in galleries all the time!!
I dont care if the art work is good, bad or ugly...sometimes just being surrounded by Art just gives me a little inspiration that I may be lacking.
Love it!

For the love of ART
Tracey Emin is one of the conceptual artist's that I most admire and respect. Her rawness, sincerity and capacity to express her inner passions, fears and desires are shocking yet admirable.
She lets you inside her world and her art is an autobiography. Explicit, clever, sexual, strong, delicate and feminine all wrapped into one. Maybe one of the reasons I like this artist so much is because women are so afraid...afraid of feeling, of expressing what they feel, of saying out loud what they want, what they desire. Society and culture have made us women waaaay too afraid. For all of you, this is Tracey Emin. I like her...I really do.
