Thank you LIFE!

I stumbled upon this beautiful Monarch Butterfly
I noticed her beauty, but her flickering and incapability to fly only confirmed one thing:
these were her last minutes.
I couldn't walk away, as I watched her struggle, trying so hard to do what she knew best: spreading her lovely colorful wings and fly.
She couldn't do that anymore.
Only God knows what happened to her minutes before.
Maybe she was old. Maybe she hurt herself along her way.
I felt so useless, powerless.
All I could do, was be there for her.

Today I am grateful that I breath.
My body is in perfect condition, and by that I mean nothing hurts.
My soul feels loved and loves back.
I have peace of mind.
I can see beauty.
I can smell the coffee.
I can enjoy delicious foods.
I can listen to amazing tones of voice.
I am alive!

What are you grateful for??

I don't like death. I don't feel comfortable with it yet but it seems that lately we have talked about the subject quite often. The butterfly was lucky to have you there as I am grateful to have you in my life.
