Homemade Facial Scrub-n-berries

I had been meaning to make this as fellow blogger Sara from Aqui which is one of my favorite blogs, not only cause she rocks but she also lives in Hawaii and wait, not only that, but she has so many exotic fruits growing in her backyard! (geez, who can blame me for being jealous huh?? :)
She posted a while ago a fruit scrub like this one. I was hesitant at first, since I had already tried it once a few years back and the scrub always ended watery and the sugar dissolving. Then another blogger saved the day and took the time to explain to me step by step! Thanks Amber!

You can store in mason jars in the fridge and it will last for weeks!
I just have to tell you that I never expected my skin to feel this soft and subtle as it actually did after this strawberry home made scrub!

Kisses!

I'm very tempted to use it as a body scrub and mix brown sugar instead of the white one... Can imagine how beaitiful it smells... I often apply "strawberry mask" in summer - just take a large berry, cut the tip off and glide it all over the face. :) In my home country girls use a lot of natural beauty treatments and I'm no exception.
Have a wonderful weekend!

After the first two steps I thought this was going to be a dessert recipe! lol, so when you mixed in the olive oil I was more intrigued. I don't know if I have the heart to do this without wanting to eat the strawberries :)

You made it!!!! Yay! So happy you enjoyed the post! Isn't Amber the best??? I was skeptical about putting the coconut oil on my face and she explained to me that its one of the few that won't clog your pores. I have to try this with strawberries! Yours looks so pretty! Thanks so much for the shout out!! :) I heart you!!

I might have to do this myself, especially if it makes skin soft!

you had me freaking out there for a second when I saw the part where you put more sugar than the fruit ??? I was starting to feel diabetic or something but ufff is just a scrub. Although I'm not sure I can buy a pack of fresh strawberries to make them into a scrub? :-/

Came back here for the recipe--I mean, ingredients. Can't believe I missed the title before but that lovely first pic was so distracting. :D
